Performance 4x4 12mm 3L and 5L Series Boost Compensated Injector Pumps are built in-house using a combination of genuine components and high-quality custom internals. Each pump is developed through extensive R&D and tested to ensure reliable performance and consistent fuel delivery across a wide range of applications.
Designed for high-performance setups, these pumps are suited to builds where increased power and drivability are the priority.
With this level of performance, supporting modifications are essential. Turbocharger, injectors, air intake, exhaust, and cooling upgrades should be considered to achieve optimal results and maintain reliability.
As a guideline, power levels above ~180HP on a standard engine significantly increase stress and reduce engine life. Vehicles operating in this range carry a higher risk of engine failure, particularly depending on usage and driving style.
For builds targeting 200HP and beyond, a fully built engine is strongly recommended to safely support these power levels.
Please note if you have a Hilux with a 5L-E motor, this can be mechanically converted, you will need to provide a 3L or 5L core for the injector pump. There will be additional components required to complete this not included as a part of the injector pump build.
Core Deposit Explained
Performance 4x4 operates on a core exchange system for our injector pumps.
If you require an injector pump to be sent out, please select the “core deposit” option. This includes a $600 refundable charge, which will be refunded once we receive your old injector pump.
Please note: your old injector pump must be complete and not disassembled to be eligible for the refund.
We work hard to keep turnaround times as fast as possible so you can get back on the road sooner.

If a pre-built core isn’t currently available, lead times can extend up to 3 weeks, however, this isn’t always the case, so we recommend getting in touch for the most up-to-date availability.
